ANNE WALSH

Anne Walsh is a Minnesota-born singer, transformational voice coach, and improviser devoted to the living song of creation. Classically trained with a BA in Vocal Performance and Music Education, she has performed with The Lyric Opera Studio Weimar in Germany, The Manhattan Chorale, Honeywild folk trio, and other ensembles such as The Singers – MCA and Chorosynthesis. 

Rooted in her Irish ancestry, Anne weaves traditional Irish Sean-nós (old style) songs and vocal ritual into her work, leading international retreats and song circles that explore voice as a path of remembrance and transformation. She has taught and performed in Minnesota, Germany, South Korea, the Cayman Islands. Based in Ojai, California, Anne maintains a thriving in person and online vocal coaching studio, collaborates with musicians often, and is working on a solo EP. Anne can often be found harmonizing in nature or bringing her playful spirit to the stage with The Groundlings Theatre in Los Angeles.
