PAIKEA ROSE

Paikea is a 13-year-old artist and musician whose creativity flows through every aspect of her life. Born in Chicago and gifted the Māori name Paikea—meaning “the whale rider,” a symbol of strength, intuition, and leadership—she embodies a deep connection to the natural world.

From an early age, Paikea displayed remarkable talent in the arts. Her imagination shines through her paintings and drawings. But it is her music that truly captivates. An extraordinary singer with a soulful tone far beyond her years, Paikea also plays multiple instruments, including piano, violin, and guitar. She has been exploring music since childhood, blending contemporary pop and R&B with spiritual and Indigenous-inspired songs that reflect her journey of self-discovery.

For Paikea, music is more than sound—it is storytelling, healing, and connection. She writes and interprets songs that express emotion, nature, and human experience. Guided by intuition and passion, she has performed at local events, community gatherings, and family celebrations, leaving a lasting impression wherever she sings. Her dream is to record her own music and share her message of hope, harmony, and authenticity with the world.

Walking a spiritual path alongside an Indigenous tribe in Brazil, Paikea embraces wisdom that informs and deepens both her art and music. She channels this understanding into every creation, blending cultural appreciation, emotional depth, and a profound respect for the Earth.

Her love for animals—especially wolves—reflects her loyal, free-spirited nature. She shares her adventures with Onyx, her beloved dog and kindred spirit.

Paikea is a young artist with an old soul—a painter, multi-instrumentalist, and singer whose creativity, compassion, and spirit illuminate everyone around her. Through her art, music, and voice, she inspires others to live boldly, authentically, and beautifully from the heart.
