PAIKEA WARAKSA
Paikea is a 13-year-old singer, multi-instrumentalist, and artist whose creativity flows through everything she does. Born in Chicago and gifted the Māori name Paikea—meaning “the whale rider,” a symbol of strength and intuition—she carries a deep connection to the natural world.
Her soulful voice captivates listeners, and she plays piano, violin, and guitar, blending contemporary pop, R&B, and spiritual Indigenous-inspired music. Paikea writes and performs songs that tell stories, heal, and connect, sharing her music at local events, community gatherings, and family celebrations.
Guided by her spiritual path with an Indigenous tribe in Brazil and the wisdom of nature, Paikea channels emotional depth, cultural appreciation, and respect for the Earth into everything she creates. Her love for animals—especially wolves—reflects her loyal, free-spirited nature, shared with her dog, Onyx.
Paikea is a young artist with an old soul, whose music, art, and heart inspire others to live boldly, authentically, and beautifully.
